Recent Projects


Shoal Falls Restoration
Located southwest of Asheville, NC, the Shoal Falls Site is being designed for Restoration Systems, LLC to provide mitigation for The Cliffs at High Carolina, the first American golf course designed by Tiger Woods.  The site consists of approximately 5,000 feet of stream restoration on trout waters.

Crowfields Restoration Site
Located in Asheville, NC, the Crowfields Site is being designed for RiverLink, Inc. and funded by the Clean Water Management Trust Fund.  The site consists of approximately 3,400 feet of urban stream restoration and enhancement.

Morgan Creek Restoration Site
Located in Haywood County in western North Carolina, the Morgan Creek Site is a full delivery project developed by Restoration Systems, LLC and American Wetlands for the North Carolina Ecosystem Enhancement Program.  The site consists of over 3,500 feet of stream restoration and enhancement.


Holly Grove Restoration Site
Located northeast of Greensboro, NC, the Holly Grove Site is a full delivery project developed by Restoration Systems, LLC for the North Carolina Ecosystem Enhancement Program.  The site consists of over 19,000 feet of stream restoration and enhancement.



Roseberry Creek Restoration Site
Located near Knoxville, Tennessee, the Roseberry Creek Site was developed for the Tennessee Stream Mitigation Program and includes over 2,500 feet of restoration.
 

Heath Dairy Restoration Site
The Heath Dairy Site is being designed for HSMM and the NCEEP.  Over 8,000 feet of stream will be restored on this site which is located near Asheboro, North Carolina.

Bannister Mitigation Site
Designed for Acer Environmental, Inc. the Bannister Site is located in north Georgia. Construction was completed in 2008 and provided approximately 10,000 feet of stream restoration.  The site is located in Forsyth County, Georgia on Brewton Creek, a tributary of the Etowah River.


Canterbury Creek
The Canterbury Creek Site was designed for Acer Environmental, Inc. as a mitigation bank.  The site consisted of 7,000 feet of stream restoration and two acres of floodplain wetland restoration in Cobb County, Georgia.

Swannanoa River Site
The Swannanoa River Site was a RiverLink, Inc. project funded by the Clean Water Management Trust Fund and consisted of restoration of 3000 linear feet of the Swannanoa River that flows through Azalea Park in Asheville, North Carolina.



Lick Creek
The Lick Creek Site was a full delivery project developed by Restoration Systems, LLC for the North Carolina Ecosystem Enhancement Program.  It included over 9,500 feet of restoration on Lick Creek and Wallace Branch, with drainage areas ranging from 5 to 14 square miles.  The site is located in the Triassic Basin of Lee County, North Carolina.

Cove Creek
Located in Watauga County near Boone, North Carolina, the Cove Creek Site involved restoring a reach of Cove Creek damaged by Hurricane Ivan and Tropical Storm Frances.  Cove Creek has a 23 square mile drainage area and the project reach was approximately 2000 linear feet.

Rivanna Site
The Rivanna Site was restored for The Nature Conservancy of Virginia and included 3,000 feet of stream restoration of a tributary to the Rivanna River.
